How We Got Started
Look, I'll be straight with you - this whole thing started because I got tired of seeing folks stranded on the Yellowhead during -35° cold snaps. Back in 2012, I was working at a generic chain shop, and every winter it was the same story. That's when it hit me. Edmonton winters aren't a joke, but most shops treat winterization like an afterthought - just another checkbox on a service list. We needed a place that actually GETS what cold weather does to vehicles, where the guys working on your car have scraped frost off their own windshields at 6am and know exactly what you're dealing with.
So I took the plunge. Scraped together everything I had, found this spot on Calgary Trail, and opened Frostwarden Realm. The name? Yeah, it's a bit dramatic, but that's kinda the point. We're not just fixing cars - we're protecting them against some seriously brutal conditions. These Alberta winters demand respect, and your vehicle needs someone in its corner who understands that.
